Star Maa announced its upcoming brand new reality TV show "Pelli Choopulu" on July 19. The first-of-its-kind Telugu show is set to help popular anchor Pradeep Machiraju find a 'perfect match' for his marriage.
The bosses of Star Maa took to Twitter to make an official announcement on July 19. They shared a promo as well as a link to register for the show. They also wrote, "If you are the one @impradeepmachi is looking for as a Perfect Match, log on to Pellichoopulu and register now."
The promo of Pelli Choopulu, released by Star Maa, shows Pradeep posing for a photo shoot when a girl comes to him asking for a selfie. As he poses for the selfie, a voice is heard from the background, asking him, "When is his marriage?" The host laughs and says, "People have been asking me like this, but I have been escaping with witty answers."
"This happens every day. They say don't share coffee but share your feelings. Alteast one will like? Every time I attend a marriage event, they say you are next. That's why TV channel is giving me a show to choose my partner. Come let's meet and know each other," Pradeep added.
Pradeep was born in Amalapuram in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh and was brought up in Hyderabad. He has completed his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He started his career as Radio Jockey at Radio Mirchi and later, went on to become TV presenter and host.
Fondly known as Depu, he is considered to be one of the most successful TV hosts in Telugu. He has appeared on 13 TV shows and is known for his stint on Konchem Touch Lo Unte Cheputa and Dhee 10. He has also made his acting debut and is known for his roles in movies like Julayi, Attarintiki Daredi and Ramayya Vasthavayya.
This 32-year-old TV host, who is considered one of the most eligible bachelors in TV currently, is set to choose his partner through the reality TV show Pelli Choopulu. A statement released by Star Maa to media, reads, "The call for entry extends to all young women who feel that Pradeep Machiraju is an eligible life partner and that they are the one that he is looking for."
How to register for an entry on Pelli Choopulu? Here are registration steps:
Step 1: Click on the website - Pelli Choopulu
Step 2: Enter your mobile number or Email ID. Then hit on the button Generate OTP.
Step 3: You will receive OTP which you need to enter to validate your mobile no/email ID.
Step 4: You will be asked to enter all the personal details. Fields with stars are mandatory and you need to provide information. You will also need to upload your photo and video.
Step 5: Once you fill in all the details, you need to go through the terms and conditions and accept them, before hitting the submit button.
Step 6: Once you submit the details, you will receive a confirmation message to your mobile no/ email Id. You will be notified on the same if you are short-listed to meet Pradeep.
