There are a lot of speculations doing the rounds regarding the release of Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh's "Gopala Gopala" first look and teaser.
Earlier, there were reports claiming that the first look will be released on the special occasion of Krishna Jayanti in August. Later, it was mentioned that the first look poster might come out on Ganesh Chaturthi Day and then on Pawan Kalyan's birthday. But, the "Gopala Gopala" team did not keep up with any of these dates.
Latest buzz is that the first look poster of the Pawan-Venky starrer will be unveiled in November, while the film's teaser is likely to be released on 13 December as a birthday treat for Venkatesh fans. However, an official confirmation regarding the first look and teaser release is still awaited.
"Gopala Gopala" shooting is progressing well and is currently underway in Nanakramguda. Over two-third of the film's shoot has been completed and Pawan will be finishing his portions in the next few weeks, reported The Times of India.
Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasany aka Dolly, "Gopala Gopala" is an official remake of bollywood film "Oh My God," starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. The satirical drama will have Venkatesh playing the role of an antique dealer, while Pawan will be reprising Akshay's role as lord Krishna.
Shriya Saran, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhushalini, Posani Krishna Murali, Krishnudu, Raghu Babu, Vennela Kishore and Prudhvi Raj are also part of the film's cast. Anoop Rubens is handling the music, while Jayanan Vincent is taking care of the camerawork.
Produced by D.Suresh Babu and Sharat Marar, "Gopala Gopala" is set to hit the screens during Sankranti festival in 2015.
The film is carrying huge expectations as it boasts of a big star cast including Pawan and Venkatesh. Both the actors are on a roll with the success of their last releases. While Pawan's "Attarintiki Daaredi" (2013) is an all time blockbuster Venky's "Drushyam" (2014) turned out to be a hit venture. It remains to be seen if "Gopala Gopala" will be able to impress the audience and perform well at the box office.
