The audio launch of Pawan Kalyan-Venkatesh's "Gopala Gopala" is expected to happen on 28 December.
According to latest reports, the makers of "Gopala Gopala" are planning a unique audio function, different from routine music release events.
Unlike regular commercial films, "Gopala Gopala" will have only three tracks composed by Anup Rubens. Pawan Kalyan will reportedly be appearing in two of the songs. The audio is expected to be released on 28 December, though an official confirmation on the release date is awaited.
The first look motion poster of the film, which was released last month, has created huge buzz surrounding the project. Fans are waiting for the film's audio and the teaser to be released soon.
Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani, "Gopala Gopala" is said to be a satirical drama with Pawan and Venky in the lead roles. The film is an official remake of the Hindi film "Oh My God," starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. Pawan will be seen in the role of lord Krishna, while Venky will be reprising Rawals role as a shop owner.
Shreya Saran, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhu Shalini, Posani Krisha Murali, Diksha Panth, Raghu Babu, Prudhviraj and Vennela Kishore are also part of the film's cast. Jayanan Vincent is handling cinematography, while Gautham Raju is doing the editing work.
Suresh Babu and Sharrath Marar are co-producing the film under their banners Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainments Pvt. Ltd.
The shooting of "Gopala Gopala" is taking place in Varanasi and is expected to be completed soon. The film is gearing up for Sankranti release in January 2015. It is likely to hit the screens on 14 January on Bhogi day. The multi starrer will be clashing with Jr NTR's "Temper" and Vikram's "I," which are also scheduled for a Sankranti release.
"Gopala Gopala" will be Pawan's first release in more than a year. He was last seen in 2013-blockbuster flick "Attarintiki Daaredi." The actor was expected to begin shooting of "Gopala Gopala" in early 2014, but the film was delayed due to his prior commitments in politics.
The film's shooting of "Gopala Gopala" commenced only after 2014 Lok sabha polls. Once Pawan completes the film, he will shift his focus to the next project – "Gabbar Singh 2" – that is expected to go on floors in December 2014.
