Pawan Kalyan and SJ Suryah's forthcoming movie has been launched on Wednesday, April 27. The muhurat of the film was held at producer Sharat Marar's office. It was a simple event, which was not attended by many.
"Pawan Kalyan-S J Suryah film was launched this morning at producer Sharat Marar's new office in Hyderabad," journalist Jalapathy Gudelli confirmed the news on Twitter. The Telugu film was supposed to hit the floors on April 29 in a grand event. So the makers' decision to launch the film in a hush-hush manner has come as a big surprise to the fans of the Power star.
Generally, big banner films in Tollywood are launched in star-studded events. It is believed that the muhurat of his latest movie was advanced to avoid a clash with Chiranjeevi's 150th movie, which is scheduled to be launched on April 29.
Pawan Kalyan and SJ Suryah had collaborated before in the blockbuster "Kushi." Incidentally, it was released on April 27 in 2001. So perhaps the makers are looking forward to history being repeated this time around as well, and preponed the date to hold the muhurat on the same date.
The upcoming movie will be reportedly shot in Mumbai, and is a bilingual movie in Tamil and Telugu languages. The action film is being made with a whopping budget of Rs. 90 crore. Details of the other cast and crew members are yet to be revealed.
Pawan Kalyan is back after his below-average "Sardaar Gabbar Singh," which was released earlier this month. The movie failed to live up to the expectations of the audience. On the other hand, director SJ Suryah has not delivered a big commercial hit in recent years. Hence, it will be a big challenge for him to churn out a good entertainer and return to the good form that viewers expect from him.
