Power Star Pawan Kalyan, known for his generous nature, recently fulfilled the wish of his 12-year-old fan, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Bandi Srija, who hails from Khammam was battling an acute neurological disorder.
The teen is an ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan and had expressed her desire to meet the Power Star. Her wish was conveyed to the actor through a representative of the Make a Wish Foundation.
Taking some time off his busy political and film schedule, Pawan Kalyan paid a visit to the private hospital in Khammam where Srija was undergoing treatment for the brain tumour. He spent quality time with his ailing little fan in the hospital.
The girl has now recovered from the neurological disorder and along with her parents, she met the actor once again, in his office in Hyderabad on Monday. Srija's parents thanked Pawan Kalyan for his support. The actor, who received them warmly, chatted with them for two hours.
"We are so happy to have met him and will cherish these memorable moments for a long time. We would like to thank Pawan Kalyan for his kind gesture. We can never forget the support he has lent to our daughter," Gulte quoted the girl's parents as saying.
Pawan Kalyan is also happy about Srija's recovery and has thanked the doctor who treated her. "I am so happy to see the girl recover. Would like to thank Dr Asadharan for his impeccable service. The parents of Srija need a special mention for their strong belief," Gulte quoted the Power Star as saying.
This is not the first time that Pawan Kalyan showed his humane side. In the recent past, he had met a couple of his fans, who were suffering from different diseases and boosted their morale. His magical starpower and the sheer joy of meeting him has helped a lot of his fans recover faster.
