Power star Pawan Kalyan and superstar Mahesh Babu are gearing up to work with actor-turned-director SJ Suryah in two different upcoming movies.
SJ Suryah has earlier directed Pawan Kalyan in his 2001 movie "Kushi" and he had also made a guest appearance in his 2010 release "Puli." The speculations about their next film together started doing the rounds after the director was frequently spotted on the sets of the power star's latest release "Sardar Gabbar Singh." But Pawan recently made an official announcement about this project.
After "Kushi," SJ Suryah will direct Pawan Kalyan in the untitled movie, which would be reportedly launched at a grand function to be held in Hyderabad on April 29. This film is said to be produced by Pawan's friend Sharrath Marar. Anup Rubens has reportedly been roped in to compose music for it. The details of other cast and crew are expected to be announced at the opening ceremony.
Of late, it is being rumoured that Mahesh Babu, who has worked SJ Suryah in "Nani," is teaming up again with him. SJ Suryah has been roped in to play the antagonist in Mahesh Babu's next bilingual project movie made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The film is likely to go on the floors in June.
This bilingual action film is made with a whopping budget of Rs. 90 crore and it will be mainly shot in Mumbai. "Suryah has been finalised for the project. The makers had initially planned to rope in a Bollywood star. However, it was director Murugadoss who suggested it would be interesting to work with Suryah," IANS quoted a source from the film unit as saying.
SJ Suryah rejected an offer to work with Dhanush for Mahesh Babu's movie, which is bankrolled by Tagore Madhu. "Suryah was approached to play the baddie in Dhanush's Enai Nokki Paayum Thota, but he couldn't accept the offer as he had already committed his dates to Mahesh's project," the source added.
