In a shocking development, actor Pawan Kalyan has called off his press meet, which was slated to be held in the second week of March.
A few days ago, a press note sent from Kalyan's office to the media had created a lot of buzz. In the press note, it was stated that the actor will clarify on the speculations regarding his political entry at a press to be held in the second week of March.
Following the announcement, speculations over the actor's political entry grew manifold. There were rumours doing the rounds that the actor might start a new party and some reports also speculated a few names that Kalyan might consider for his party.
While there were strong buzz about the actor forming a new party, there were reports claiming that the actor might join an established party in the likes of Lok Satta and AAP.
As everybody was waiting to see the "Attarintiki Daredi" actor address the media, he shocked them all by annoucing that he is cancelling the press meet. A message from Kalyan's office stated that "there is no pressmeet of 'PAWAN KALYAN's political views as of now," according to Gulte.
The message from his office has come just hours after the Election Commission of India had announced the dates for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, which will be held in nine phases. The polls will start from 7 April till 12 May, while the counting of votes will take place on 16 May. In Andhra Pradesh, the election will held on 30 April and 7 May.
