The rumours around Baahubali 3 have grown stronger following a tweet by producer Shobu Yarlagadda on Twitter. The filmmaker's cryptic post has given fillip to speculations on the possibility of Baahubali's next instalment.
Borrowing a quote from novel The Alchemist by renowned author Paulo Coelho, he posted, "Everything that happens once can never happen again. But everything that happens twice will surely happen a third time! From "The Alchemist". [sic]" This message is seen as an indication of Baahubali 3 by fans.
Shobu Yarlagadda's tweet has got massive 'likes' and 'retweets' which shows how eagerly the fans are waiting for Baahubali 3.
In fact, celebrities too have read his message between the lines. Actress and producer Lakshmi Manchu responded, "Woahhhhhhh!!! What does this mean?I'm reading between the lines? Is there going to be a #baahubali3 [sic]." However, the producer has chosen to remain silent and has not given any clarification.
It was also recently reported that following the massive success of Baahubali 2, the makers have decided to carry the franchise forward. The movie would not revolve around the main characters that were part of Baahubali 1 and 2, but it will introduce the untold tales of the Mahishmati kingdom.
The reports claim that the discussions are on and Karan Johar is also interested with the idea of Baahubali 3. A few foreign writers are said to be in talks with the makers for the third instalment and KV Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the first two parts, has been approached to see whether he has any interesting story.
Interestingly, SS Rajamouli, during the promotions of Baahubali 2, had stated that he had no plans to make Baahubali 3, but it might come up in the form of animation series, comic books, virtual reality shows etc.
Rajamouli has also said that he would be doing a film without time-consuming VFX.
