Late actor Paul Walker's parents are separating after 30 years of marriage. Walker's mother Cheryl Walker has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Paul Walker III.
According to a report by TMZ, the couple has been living separately for more than 12 years now. It is also said that Cheryl has demanded spousal support, a house and the gun collection as a part of divorce settlement.
The news of divorce came nine months after Paul Walker's unfortunate death but sources connected to the couple told TMZ that it has nothing to do with his death.
The "Fast & Furious 7" actor died in a tragic car accident on 30 November, 2013. Paul was a co-passenger in a Porsche Carrera GT when the car met with an accident. His business partner and friend, Rogar Rodas was in the driver's seat when the mishap happened and both got killed.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Cheryl wanted the custody of her grand daughter Meadow Walker after her son passed away but it went to Meadow's mother Rebecca Stereos. Apparently, Meadow wanted to live with her mother.
Meadow is the sole owner of late actor's estate which is valued in the range of $16 to $25 million. She is currently living with her mother in a home that Paul had purchased, according to Christian Post.
On the other hand, Paul' s last movie, "Fast & Furious 7" is all set to release next year. The movie is in its postproduction stage. Paul had shot most of his scenes before passing away in the accident. His look-alike brothers Cody and Caleb Walker shot his remaining scenes.
Paul Walker's character Brian O' Connor will retire in "F&F7". James Wan of "Saw" fame is directing the film.
"I try to keep the number of projects I'm involved in down to one per year," Wan told Hollywood Reporter before Paul's death, adding, "But that wasn't the case this year -- it's been pretty incredible going at this pace. "Compared to my past work, the set pieces in this film (F&F 7) are incredibly out there ... it's amazing that they're so huge, and it's an amazing playground for me to play in."
