Amritsar/ Kathua, Jan 04 (ANI): Paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) stepped up patrolling along the border in Punjab after Pakistan Rangers violated ceasefire yet again. Officials said Pakistan resorted to heavy mortal shelling on several posts along the border since Friday (January 02) night. Meanwhile, Inspector General of the BSF Anil Paliwal assured extra vigilance at the border. Meanwhile, residents of border areas in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district migrated to safer areas after their villages came under attack. In the fresh attack, Pakistani Rangers targeted several BSF posts in Ramgarh town of Jammu district. Barota camp in Ramgarh sector also came under heavy mortar fire.
