Telugu movie "Pataas", starring Kalyan Ram, is gearing up to conquer the box office. The movie, which had received great reviews from critics as well as the audience, is also reportedly doing well in terms of business.
The movie grossed ₹1.7 crore on its first day and it looks like word-of-mouth promotion of the film has worked well for the movie.
The flick did fairly well in Nizam as well as Andhra box office, with a share of ₹10.43 crore and grossing over ₹15.75 crore, according to Andhra Box Office.

Vizag: ₹1.05 crore, East: ₹70 lakh, West: ₹60 lakh, Krishna: ₹75 lakh , Guntur: ₹95 lakh, Nellore: ₹35 lakh, Ceeded: ₹1.93 crore, Nizam: ₹4.10 crore. Total AP and Nizam share collection has, therefore, summed up to ₹10.43 crore.
Meanwhile, the estimated gross of the movie in AP and Nizam are divided as mentioned below:
Nizam: ₹6.70 crore, Ceeded: ₹2.55 crore and Andhra: ₹6.50 crore, making the gross of the Nizam and Andhra region touch ₹15.75 crore.
In rest of India, the film has reportedly got a share of ₹70 lakh, while its gross collection stands at ₹1.60 crore and overseas share of the movie is around ₹60 lakh and gross collection is estimated at ₹1 crore.
With "Pataas" movie making a share of ₹11.73 crore and gross of ₹18.35 crore, the producers of the movie have ensured a superhit in their bag.
Since there are no big Telugu releases in the near future, "Pataas" is now expected to continue its good run at the box office.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "Pataas" is an action comedy entertainer with Kalyan Ram playing the role of a corrupt police officer. The movie also stars Shruti Sodhi MS Narayana, Sai Kumar and Ashutosh Rana. The commercial entertainer is produced by NTR Arts banner.
