Parvathamma Rajkumar, the wife of Kannada actor Rajkumar, is being treated at MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru after she complained of giddiness, fatigue and breathing problems. She is presently on life support and her condition is stated to be critical.
Parvathamma's son Shivaraj Kumar along with doctors said that she is still feeling breathing-related complications. "Her condition is critical and she has been kept on ventilator. She will be under observation for the next 24-48 hours," the doctors said.
Shivaraj Kumar added that her blood pressure level and diabetes are under control and everything would return to normalcy if she recovers from breathing issues. "There are no reasons to panic or worry. Her health status is better today, compared to yesterday," he said. A five-member group is monitoring her health.
The actor has also requested media not to spread wrong information about her heath.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had paid a visit to the hospital on Wednesday to enquire about her health. He told media that her condition was stable and wished her speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, the security has been beefed up around the hospital to avoid any unforeseen incidents.
It may be recalled that Parvathamma Rajkumar was also hospitalised in March. She had undergone treatment for diabetes and low blood pressure.
