Park Bo Gum's Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' Lee Yeong was one of the most romantic characters to come out of South Korean television and he has amassed a lot of female fans, thanks to the historical romance drama. But in real life, Park Bo Gum seems to be lonely.
Park Bo Gum's Moonlight Drawn by Clouds co-star Kwak Dong Yeon recently revealed to E News that both of them are ready to enter the dating pool.
"We both also want to date," he said. "While watching Lee Young and La Ohn's romance, I couldn't stand it because it made my heart pound. I even asked Bo Gum hyung, 'Don't you want to date,' the first time I met him. Hyung responded, 'I do want to so bad. I'm so lonely.' Both of us being single since high school is another thing we have in common."
Park Bo Gum himself had earlier opened up about his desire to be in a relationship saying he wants his partner to take care of him. "I think I like those who feel comfortable like a friend, and also take good care of me like a mother," he told Elle.
Moonlight Drawn by Clouds aired its finale on October 18. His onscreen chemistry with Kim Yoo Jung had initially sparked rumours of a romance between the two, but the actress put these rumours to rest, saying Park Bo Gum was like a sibling.
"Park Bo Gum oppa is really good to me," she told Elle. "We're like siblings. Before we started production, we wanted to get close to each other so we did script readings together and went out to eat, but it felt awkward. When filming started, becoming closer happened naturally as we went through the difficulties together."
