A video has surfaced showing the Paris Jewish supermarket attacker Amedy Coulibaly pledging allegiance to the Islamic State, two days after he was shot down by the counter-terrorism units on Friday.
Coulibaly was shot down at the Kosher store after he killed four hostages.
The video was released by ISIS, according to SITE Intelligence, an online watchdog, which shows Coulibaly, a Senegalese-born Frenchman pledging allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
In the earlier parts of the video Coulibaly is seen wearing traditional clothing and sitting under the Islamic State flag.
In the later part in the video Coulibaly is seen wearing a black jacket and sitting next to a Kalashnikov, saying "everything we are doing is legitimate; you cannot attack and not get anything back in return."
In another part, Coulibaly referring to the Charlie Hebdo massacre asks: "What are you doing when our Prophet is so seriously insulted? He then referring to the Kouachi brothers says: "We are a team, in league together, with the brothers."
He claims in the video that they did things together and things separately to have the most impact. In another part, which appears to be shot during the Kosher store seize, Coulibaly says, there is reason why we attacked France, Charlie Hebdo and a Jewish grocery as it has been completely [sic] deserved for a long time.
"For what you have done to the Caliphate, for what you have done to the Islamic State, we are attacking you," he says.
In the Paris shooting incidents, the Islamist radicals have killed 17 people including satire cartoonists and police officers.
