Parineeti Chopra's career had taken a fall when some of her films tanked at the box office. Even though it has shown improvement, her whimsical decisions are getting in way.
Apparently, she agreed to be a part of choreographers Bosco Martis and Caesar Gonsalves' Circus, but later walked out of it, without citing reasons for her exit. According to sources, she sat on the script of the film for five months, approved of it and then backed out.
Circus is a film about father-daughter relationship. Suniel Shetty was roped in to play Chopra's onscreen father and Sooraj Pancholi her love interest.
"Pari committed to the film and then walked out of it without an explanation. She then claimed that she was never on board and was only approached for the film, when fact is, she sat on the script for 5 months after giving her nod to it," DNA quoted a source as saying.
The insider further claimed that this isn't the first time that Chopra has backed out of a commitment. For Circus, Bosco had even arranged for a production studio, which would back it.
"Bosco even got a studio backing the project, but after Pari's walkout, they too got the jitters and opted out. A shattered Bosco is trying to pull himself together to make his debut film," the source elaborated.
In other news, Chopra has been signed on as the leading lady of Golmaal 4 alongside Ajay Devgn. With Rohit Shetty on the helm, the franchise film will see Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade reprising their roles. The comedy-actioner is scheduled to be released on Diwali 2017.
Chopra has wrapped up Meri Pyari Bindu, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and will begin Homi Adjania's Takadum with Sushant Singh Rajput next year.
