Parineeti Chopra was at the receiving end of unpleasant comments from her followers on social media for her latest hair colour. Many trolled Parineeti for her new "red" hair but the actress responded to the trolls on Instagram in style.
Parineeti became a topic of discussion on social media after some pictures appeared on the internet showing her new hair colour. Soon, many started trolling her saying that she looked like a "witch" in her "red" hair and that it did not suit her.
Later, the bubbly actress took to Instagram to hit back at the trolls. She posted a picture flaunting her new look and captioned it "burgundy". This post is clearly a dig at all those, who thought her hair colour is red.
She also made her point on an Instagram story as she wrote, "Who said red?"
"I wanted to try something i have never done before. So Ruchika the film's producer suggested we go red! Loved the idea so went ahead. But must say its very high maintenance, it's teaching me how to be a more patient human being," Parineeti was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Parineeti, who has been busy shooting for Jabariya Jodi, was recently trolled for an apparent wardrobe malfunction during the promotions of Namastey England.
She was spotted in a blue dress, which many felt was too tight for her. Some of the trolls also felt that Parineeti was bra-less in the pictures, and her nipples were visible over the dress.
