Parineeti and Siddharth go 'Mental' in 'Hasee Toh Phasee' Trailer [VIDEO]

The trailer of Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra's romantic comedy "Hasse Toh Phasee" has been released.

An eccentric Parineeti referred to as 'mental' is presented in the video, along with Siddharth who is called 'senti'.

The fun-filled and colourful trailer comes across as a comedy of errors, with Siddharth and Parineeti paired together as quirky match. A hilarious set of events follow, especially with the involvement of the duo's ridiculous family members.

Parineeti's crazy act as 'mad scientist' is delightful as she is seen emoting funny gestures and antics. Siddharth looks spontaneous in the role of the cool male lead.

Further the film's tagline 'Love Goes Cucking Frazy' gives away to the madness that can be expected in the romantic comedy.

Interestingly, the film is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Anurag Kashyap's Phantom Films.

Johar, speaking about "Hasee Toh Phasee" (HTP), said, "When I read this film I was bowled over by its quirkness... it moved me." He insisted that HTP differs widely from the recently released dud "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" and has a different set of characters, reported PTI.

Kashyap, who has turned producer for the romantic comedy that is different from his usual grim projects, said, "I look for sense and sensibility. These kind (commercial romantic films) have appealed to me. You all have made me this dark kind of a person. When I heard the script it made me laugh... cry."

The Vinil Mathew directorial is slated for a 7 February 2014 release.

So far, the trailer has met with positive response. In about 24 hours, the "Hasee Toh Phasee" trailer has fetched close to over 2 lakh hits.
