Paresh Rawal Dons 3 New Avatars in 'Dharam Sankat Mein' [PHOTOS]

Paresh Rawal is one of the most-talented comedians in Bollywood. He will next be seen in three new get-ups in "Dharam Sankat Mein".

Having dabbled with a variety of roles, Paresh Rawal excelled in playing hilarious characters with unmatchable comic timing. From Baburao in "Hera Pheri" to atheist Kanjibhai in "OMG! Oh My God", Paresh Rawal has not just infused life and soul into the characters, but also made them memorable for all movie buffs.

Continuing the comic streak, the prolific actor is all set to tickle your funny bone with some witty one-liners in his upcoming satirical film "Dharam Sankat Mein", which revolves around the story of a man torn by the dilemma of choosing between two religions. Paresh Rawal will be seen playing a father, a maulwi and a pundit in the film, which features stalwarts Naseeruddin Shah and Annu Kapoor as well.

"Dharam Sankat Mein" features Paresh as Dharampal, a man caught in an identity crisis of epic proportions. His entire belief system is shaken when documents from his departed mother's locker reveal to him that instead of being what he believed himself to be - an average upper middle class Hindu - he was actually born to a Muslim family, Paresh Rawal said while speaking about his role.

Paresh Rawal says that the movie delivers an important message. "The film goes into a series of hilarious events that follows once I figure my true identity. "Dharam Sankat Mein" is an important film wherein a good message is being delivered through a rib tickling story," the actor adds.

"Dharam Sankat Mein" is a situational comedy film. Presented and produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Trigno Media, the movie is all set to hit the theaters on 10 April, 2015. "I'm fortunate to have got the opportunity to play interesting characters. I hope to continue entertaining the audience and my fans," Paresh gushes about the film.
