Bangalore, July 17 (ANI): Agitated parents protested in Vibgyor High School in Bangalore as a 6 year old girl was sexually assaulted in the school. The parents said the school _tried to cover up the matter_ and did not inform them about the incident, which took place on July 2. The Chairman of the school, Rustom Kerawala, assured that safety measures will be improved in school to keep all the students safe. He added that the school authorities are co-operating in investigation and confirmed that the suspected accused have been taken in police custody. However, the parents said they are not satisfied by the statements the school is giving. Meanwhile, Bangalore DCP TD Pawar said that the matter was reported quite late but he assured that action will be taken against the culprits. Reportedly, the girl was taken to a hospital after she expressed discomfort at home, which was when it was revealed that she was raped. A case was filed by victim___s parents after the medical examination.
