Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani's new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, which went on air from November 7 onwards, has been garnering positive reviews from the viewers.
Arjun plays the role of a witty Raghav in this refreshing love story. The latest buzz is that the actor has been helping the scriptwriters to include some one-liners and funny dialogues for his role.
"While I do enjoy the role of a romantic, charming hero in the show, I want to make my audience enjoy a good humour when they watch my character. I am able to bring this to Raghav on screen and I am thoroughly enjoying my new role as a one-liner expert for my scriptwriter," Arjun told Tellychakkar.com.
The show has been extensively shot in the beautiful locales of Vienna, Austria, and was initially rumoured to be inspired from hit Bollywood film Pardes, starring Shah Rukh and Mahima Chaudhry.
Recently, the shoot of Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil came to a halt when a group of people who came to have a glimpse of the lead actor thronged the shooting location. While such incidents are nothing new, this was rather funny as the fans mistook Arjun for King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
Some reports said that Karan Johar's recently released Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which has Shah Rukh in a cameo role, had been extensively shot in foreign locales and when some Austrians fans of SRK saw some Indians shooting in Vienna, they assumed that it was SRK shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The team of Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil had a tough time dispersing the crowd.
