Actress Radhika Apte lost her cool on questions related to the recent controversy surrounding a leaked video from the movie Parched and blasted a media reporter.
Radhika Apte was interacting with mediapersons during the launch of the first watch store of Swatch in Mumbai on Tuesday. She got irked when a reporter quizzed her on the controversial MMS. In a strong reply, she said such controversies are created by people like him. She asked him to come out of his cocoon mindset and look at how people overseas are handling things.
"My friend! Sorry! But your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by the people like you. You saw the clip? You shared it with other people? You are the person that controversies are made out of. I'm an artiste and if I'm required to do certain job, I will do it," Radhika Apte hurled her anger against the reporter.
"If you get out of your cocoon and look at what people are doing abroad are not ashamed of their own bodies, you will probably not ask me this question. People who are ashamed of their own bodies have curiosity about other's body. If you want to see a naked body tomorrow, look at yourself in the mirror or yourself, rather than my clip. Then we can talk about it. Is that clear?" Radhika Apte added.
Later, the reporter offered apology to Radhika. I apologise from my side if you are hurt!" he said. I feel hurt? Sweet heart! You need to get over yourself. You will get over it," she replied to him, before leaving the venue.
Radhika Apte has been a child of controversies in recent years. Before the leaked clip, she was in news for her bold and straight-forward remarks against actors in the South Indian film industry. However, here is the video featuring her responding to the reporter at the launch of Swatch watch store in Mumbai.
