Director Sampath Nandi's next movie Paper Boy was launched in style in Hyderabad on Thursday morning. Actor Gopichand and Catherine Tresa were the chief guests at the launch ceremony of the movie.
Sampath Nandi is currently busy wrapping up his movie Goutham Nanda, which stars Gopichand, Catherine Tresa and Hansika Motwani. Months before the movie hits the screens, he has announced his upcoming movie titled Paper Boy. He held a grand pooja ceremony for the launch of this film on Thursday morning.
Gopichand was seen giving a green signal to the first shot of Paper Boy, while Catherine Tresa directed this shot. Public relations officer Vamsi Shekar tweeted: "Sampath Nandi Team Works New Project "Paper Boy" Film Muhurtham..Clap by Gopichand and First Shot directed by @CatherineTresa1..."
It is well known that director Sampath Nandi has established his own production banner named Sampath Nandi Creative Works. He also bankrolled the critically-acclaimed film, Gaalipatam. Now, the director is co-producing Paper Boy with Venkat and Narasimha under his banner and the film will be made on a big budget in a grand way.

Besides production, Sampath Nandi has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues for Paper Boy. Vamsi Shekar tweeted: "Movie Opening of #PaperBoy.....Story, screenplay and dialogues are to be provided by @DirectorSampath.....A Sampath Nandi Team Works Film."
Paper Boy is a musical love story to be directed by debutant Jay Shankar, in which Santosh Shobhan and Aishwarya Vhatkar will play the lead roles. Soundar Rajan, who has earlier worked with Sampath Nandi in Bengal Tiger and Goutham Nanda, will crank the camera, while Bheems Ciceroleo will compose the music for the film.
