Japanese consumer electronics giant, Panasonic has launched the company's first Octa-core smartphone P81 in India.
The new Panasonic P81 is mid-range phablet that sports a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280p) screen and runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS with custom UI Play Life out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it houses 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB), 2500 mAh battery, 13.0-megapixel main camera, 2.0-megapixel front camera for video chat and connectivity features include 3G network support, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v3.0 and Wi-Fi.
As an introductory offer, consumer is said get free flip-cover, screen guard, subscription to digital services (for limited period only) and applications all worth ₹11,900.
Panasonic P81 will be available in Black Leatherette for MRP ₹19,990 with best buy option of ₹18,990 and is expected to hit stores in third week of this month.
Competition:
The new Panasonic phablet will be up against popular domestic brands like Micromax Canvas Knight A350, Karbonn Mobile's Octane & Octane Plus, Intex Aqua Octa and also the MNC labeled Gionee Elife S5.5.
