Panasonic unveiled DMC-FZ1000 and DMC-FZ300 cameras in India, joining the company's high-tech LUMIX range.
The DMC-FZ1000 features a one inch 20.1 megapixel MOS sensor with 16x optical zoom. The flagship camera comes with a 1-inch 5-axis HYBRID Optical Image Stabilizer and 5-step speed control to avoid any noise while creating cinematic level videos.
The DMC-FZ300 hybrid compact camera integrates top-of-the-line build quality for splash and dust resistance. It is fitted with a full range f/2.8 aperture lens in 600mm to capture distant, fast-moving images in HD. The 12.1MP sensor supports 24x optical zoom.
Both the cameras have built-in Wi-Fi and can communicate with smartphones and tablets for seamless sharing.
"We see immense potential in the Indian market for the possibilities of 4K images and videos, as ultra high definition 4K is trending across the global camera landscape, and poised to replace full HD shooting," Gaurav Ghavri, Product Head, Panasonic India, said in a press statement.
In case you don't know, 4K images and videos are four times the resolution of Full HD or 1080p content. It is the most advanced technology in the imaging world that captures near-to-life images and videos. In technical terms, 4K is short for content or display that has horizontal resolution on the order of 4,000 pixels per inch (ppi).
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000 and DMZ-FZ300 are available in India for Rs 45,990 and Rs 58,990, respectively.
