Pamela Anderson Sends Special Gift Hampers to Aishwarya Rai, Big B, Shah Rukh, Salman and Other B-Town Celebs

Hollywood star Pamela Anderson has recently sent some of her friends in Bollywood a special gift, a vegan gift hamper along with a note extolling the virtues of a healthy diet.

Anderson, a strict vegan, mentions in her friendly note how a vegan diet helps one stay healthy, reported PTI.

Bollywood stars including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Hema Malini, Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha were among the recipients of the special hamper, which the "Baywatch" star has sent as a gesture celebrating the World Vegan Month.

The 47-year-old actress, an honorary director of the animal rights organisation, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), feels that a vegan diet helps keep one healthy and fit. It boosts the energy levels and helps balance a healthy work and family life.

"I have found that eating vegan helps me stay healthy, and gives me the energy to keep up with my kids, work, and travel and we all like a little truly harmless indulgence," Anderson said in a statement.

"I hope you and your family will enjoy lots of holiday cheer this year and join me in wishing goodwill towards all fellow beings with whom we share the planet." she added.
