Pakistani troops on Monday violated ceasefire thrice by firing on forward posts along the border in Jammu and Poonch districts. A jawan of Border Security Force (BSF) was injured in the Pakistani firing.
"There was sudden unprovoked burst of fire from Pakistan side in forward areas along the international border in Hiranagar sector around 1120 hours," PTI quoted a BSF officer as saying.
The BSF retaliated to the Pakistani firing, which continued till around 11.30 am. The injured BSF constable, AK Rabha, who was posted along the international border, was rushed to a Jammu hospital.
