Karan Johar's upcoming romantic drama film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has been facing strong opposition due to the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. However, his role in ADHM is apparently as short-timed as just four minutes.

After Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) opposed the screening of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil if Fawad Khan's role is not chopped off, Cinema Owners Association of India (CWAOI) declared that the film will not be released in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa and Gujarat.
Fawad Khan finally breaks his silence
Nevertheless, many Bollywood celebrities have expressed support for Karan Johar and said that not allowing release of the movie would incur losses for the makers of the film only and not any Pakistani actor.
Expressing similar opinion filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt revealed that length of Fawad's role in ADHM is just four minutes. "Pakistani actor is in the film for 4 minutes. It's the money of Indians at stake. It's a family entertainer," India Today quoted Mukesh Bhatt as saying on the controversy surrounding the film.
There have been threats also to vandalise theatres that would screen ADHM and thus Mukesh Bhatt has reportedly met with Mumbai Police Commissioner to discuss the safety issues.
Directed by Karan Johar, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil features Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in other key roles. It is a romantic drama surrounding some complicated relationships. The film is slated for release on October 29 along with much-hyped Shivaay.
