At least three civilians, including a woman, were killed and 16 injured as Pakistan violated ceasefire in RS Pura sector of Jammu & Kashmir, according to NDTV report.
The deceased have been identified as Subhash Chander, 45, and Bimla Devi, 42, of Sai Khurd village, and Pawan Kumar, 55, of Abdullian village.The injured have been shifted to hospital, IANS reported.

Pakistani troops resorted to heavy firing at several border posts in the RS Pura and Arnia sectors in Jammu at 10 pm on Thursday and started again at 1 am on Friday. The firing along the International Border was underway in the morning.
"Pakistan Rangers resorted to shelling and firing at 1 a.m. today (Friday) and our side has appropriately retaliated," a senior police officer told IANS.

The Pakistani troops used small arms and mortars, Daily News & Analysis reported.
Pakistan has been violating ceasefire often along the borders in Poonch, Sujiyan, Balakote, Hamirpur, Mandi sectors in Poonch district. A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of Army was killed on Tuesday when Pakistani soldiers resorted to firing along the LoC in the Nowgam sector of Kupwara district.
The Pakistani troops opened fire even on the days when both India and Pakistan celebrated their Independence Day, killing five civilians, including a sarpanch. Five others were injured when Pakistani troops resorted to heavy firing and mortar bomb shelling at several Indian posts and civilian areas.
At least 19 ceasefire violations were reported in July, in which four people, including three jawans, were killed and 14 others injured. While in August, at least 52 violations have been reported. In total, there were 245 ceasefire violations in 2015.
