A Pakistani submarine reportedly fired at four Indian fishing boats off the Gujarat coast on Thursday. The Pakistan Navy also arrested 24 Indian fishermen on board these boats.
According to news agency ANI, the Pakistani submarine fired at the boats when they were near the port of Jakhau. At least one Indian fisherman was reported injured in the firing.
Last month, the Pakistani navy had fired at an Indian boat off the Gujarat coast, killing one fisherman.
According to the Press Trust of India, an Indian delegation is set to visit Pakistan in order to inspect 22 Indian boats seized.
Pakistan is said to have seized 837 Indian boats and has put 257 Indian fishermen in jails, according to the PTI report.
