At least 10 people were reportedly killed after a suicide bomber blew himself up at a Shia mosque in Pakistan's Balochistan province, local reports said.
According to Dawn, at least three children were among the dead. Pakistan's GEO TV said that 10 people were killed and 12 were injured in the blast outside the Imambargah in Bhaag area of Bolan.
The blast took place around 8.25pm, reports said. It ripped through a congregation hall meant for Shia commemoration ceremonies, especially those associated with the Remembrance of Muharram.
A PTI report said that the suicide bomber blew himself up at the shrine as the worshippers gathered to observe the holy month. It is said to be the first major terror attack that has targeted the Shia Muslims during the holy month.
No group yet has taken responsibility for the attack.
