Hamirpur Sector, Oct 17 (ANI): Pakistan troops resorted to small arms fire in the Hamirpur Sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District late last night. According to reports, the firing commenced at 9 p.m. and lasted till 10.30 p.m. There was retaliation from the Indian side, the reports added. According to a health services officer, paramedical staff have been put on high alert to supply both medicines and ambulances to any injured security personnel during the cross-LoC firing. On Thursday, a ten-year-old child was injured by the firing from across the border, and is being treated at the Poonch District Hospital. Meanwhile, Indian politicos have condemned Pakistan for indulging into continuous ceasefire violation.
