Director Sooraj Tom's Malayalam movie "Pa..Va," which tells the story of Pulimootil Devassypappan and Peryanthanam Varkkichan, is set to hit the screens in Kerala on July 22.
The family entertainer, starring Anoop Menon and Murali Gopy in the lead, will be locking horns with superstar Rajinikanth Tamil gangster thriller, "Kabali", at the Kerala box office.

The melodious songs
First and foremost, what makes "Pa..Va" special is its six songs, especially the "Podimeesha Mulakkana Kaalam" melody composed by Anand Madhusoodanan and sung by P Jayachandran. It has already become the favourite of the viewers for its impressive visuals, catchy lyrics and tune. The other songs of the family entertainer have also been garnering good response from the audience. While Santhosh Varma, Suku Damodar, Rafeeq Ahammed and Harinarayanan penned the lyrics, actors Murali, Aparna Balamurali, playback singers Vijay Yesudas, Sithara Krishnakumar, Nithin P K, Swarna Vinayan and Minmini Joy have rendered their voice for the songs in the film.

Never-before-seen avatars of Anoop Menon and Murali Gopy
The movie narrates the incidents that occur in the life of childhood friends Pappan and Varkey, who are in their old age. In "Pa..Va," both Anoop and Murali will be seen in never-seen-before avatars as old aged people. The film is expected to enthral the audience with comedy and heart-touching emotional sequences by the actors.
