Pa Ranjith has continued his good run in Kollywood by adding one more hit movie to his credit. The director's latest movie "Kabali" has been declared a hit by the producer. With this development, the filmmaker has delivered a hat-trick!
He made his debut with "Attakathi," which turned out to be a dream debut for him as not only it won critical acclaim but tasted commercial success as well. His next movie "Madras" too managed to win the hearts of the audience. Now, "Kabali" has turned out to be a hit.
The makers had organised a success meet on Thursday, July 28, where the elated producer Kalaippuli S Thanu said that he has offered Pa Ranjith to direct one more movie for his V Creations. However, the director is not in a position to take up this offer as he is already committed to do a movie featuring Suriya for Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green.
There are also talks going on between Kalaippuli S Thanu and Pa Ranjith over doing a sequel to "Kabali." In an interview, the producer had said recently that they are ready for the sequel but Rajinikanth should approve the film.

Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte's "Kabali" has performed exceptionally well at the worldwide box office. The movie, which was made with a budget of Rs. 100 crore, has grossed Rs. 320 crore worldwide in its first week.
The movie did a pre-release business of Rs. 225 crore and the producer has made huge profit out of the Rajinikanth-starrer.
The flick is an action-thriller in which Rajinikanth plays the role of a gangster. The film has been majorly shot in Malaysia and Rajini's strong screen presence has remained the big highlight of "Kabali".
