Punjabi film Chaar Sahibzaade - Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur (CSRBSB) has got good opening and made better collection than Bollywood movie Rock On 2 at the overseas box office collection in the first weekend.
Chaar Sahibzaade - Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur is 3D animated film, which has been directed and produced by Harry Baweja. The movie was released in around 200 screens in the key international markets like US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Malayasia and it has received fantastic response in all these foreign countries in its opening weekend.
Chaar Sahibzaade - Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur has collected approximately US$613,769 from 197 screens at the overseas box office in the first weekend. Its per-screen average stands at $3115. The movie has topped the business charts for Indian movies in above-mentioned countries except US. It has become one of the big Punjabi money spinners at the International markets in 2016.
On other hand, Farhan Akhtar's Bollywood movie has received disastrous response in the international markets. Rock On 2 has collected approximately US$128,506 from 173 screens at the overseas box office in its opening weekend. Its per-screen average is $742 and its performance is poorer than that of two-week-old Bollywood releases - Shivay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
