SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali - the Beginning" (Bahubali) has been slowed in its tracks in its 5th weekend after a long, successful run at the overseas box office, because the film has been pulled down from many threatres in key international markets.

"Baahubali - the Beginning" did record collection at the overseas box office in its first week. In its second week, it was forced out of some theatres by "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" in India, but managed to do well in foreign markets. In its third week, the makers released its Hindi version, which did well along with its Telugu and Tamil versions.

Following the release of "Drishyam", the makers withdrew the Telugu version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" from all foreign markets except the UK, in its fourth week. This version has been completely withdrawn from all international markets in its fifth week.
The Hindi version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" collected $48,628 from 16 screens at the USA box office in its third weekend, taking its 17-day total to $396,812 (Rs 2.53 crore). It has raked in $8,233 from 4 screens at the Canada box office in its third weekend and its 17-day total collection stands at $99,202 (Rs 63.38 lakh).
In its third weekend, the Hindi version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" did better business in lesser number of screens than new Bollywood release "Bangistan", which has collected $25,879 (Rs 16.53 lakh) from 41 screens in the USA and $7,252 (Rs 4.63 lakh) from 8 screens in Canada in its opening weekend.
In its fifth weekend, the Tamil version of "Baahubali - the Beginning" collected AUD8,486 from 3 screens in Australia and MYR 12,846 from 2 screens in Malaysia. Its 31-day total stands at AUD 297,563 Rs 1.40 crore) and MYR1,103,756 (Rs 1.79 crore) in these countries, respectively.
Both the Tamil and Hindi versions of "Baahubali - the Beginning" have collected $68,557 (Rs 44.04 lakh) at the overseas box office in the fifth weekend. The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer movie has collected approximately $10,888,293 (Rs 70 crore) at the international box office in 31 days.
"Baahubali - the Beginning" has become the 16th Indian movie to surpass the $10-million mark in box office collections in the international market. The film has also beaten the lifetime record of Salman Khan's "Kick". (The value of dollar was Rs 60.06, when "Kick" released in theatres in July, 2014, but now, it is Rs 64.21.)
