Fans of Starz's drama series "Outlander" are eagerly waiting for the Season 2 premiere in April, when the series returns with more adventure, drama and romance.
The Twitter account of the show has hinted some major news regarding Season 2 is on its way. The post reads: "There are verra big things happening in the world of #Outlander this week. (sic)"
A Twitter user has written: "I bet my best shirt that you're going to share some news that makes #Outlander fans verra happy! Do I get to keep my shirt? (sic)"
In response to his post, the show's Twitter handle wrote: "Yes, you can keep your shirt! #Outlander. (sic)"
Fans also searched several other forums and micro-blogging sites to guess what news the show could be announcing. According to some of them, the series will announce the air date of the Season 2 premiere while some speculated information regarding Season 3 will be revealed.
The Twitter handle of "Outlander" also hinted that the announcement is the "biggest news yet" and the updates will be revealed soon.
Since the filming of "Outlander" Season 2 started last summer, there have been constant updates regarding the second season. The first season of "Outlander" was well received by fans and critics alike, and was nominated for Best Television Drama Series at the Golden Globes. The show also won Most Binge-Worthy Show at the Critcs' Choice Awards.
Recently, the show cast Sophie Skelton as Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) daughter Brianna. Other new cast member will include Richard Rankin, who will be playing the character of Roger Wakefield.
