Apart from American TV show "Quantico" and a bunch of films at home, picking up and presenting awards is what's keeping Priyanka Chopra busy these days. The Academy's official Twitter page announced its second slate of presenters on Monday, which had this leading lady's name written in bright gold.
Chopra shares the list with Steve Carell, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Kerry Washington, Jason Segel, Quincy Jones, Byung-hun Lee, Julianne Moore, Olivia Munn, Andy Serkis, JK Simmons and Reese Witherspoon.
This won't be the first time that she would give away an award. At the People's Choice Awards, (where she picked up the trophy for Favourite Actress In A New TV Series) she announced nominations for a category along with John Stamos. Also, the recently-concluded SAG Awards saw her present an award for outstanding male actor in a drama series.
To be hosted by Chris Rock, the 88th Oscars will be aired live on 28 February, on ABC.
In other news, she will next be seen in Prakash Jha's "Jai Gangaajal", which is scheduled to be released on 4 March. Thrilled and excited to be part of the project, she said that she chooses roles instinctively, and that is why she, at times, gets it wrong.
"It's a relevant film, which talks about many things, including feminism, why farmers commit suicide, corruption in the system, etc. It's also about a woman, who fights corruption," the Hindustan Times quoted her as saying.
Also, Chopra will be co-producing mobi-series titled "It's My City" for a mobile app.
