After composing numerous hit numbers in various languages, music maestro AR Rahman has turned script writer and producer for an untitled film.
Earlier, some reports suggested that the music legend is planning to direct a film. However, he refuted those rumours and said: "I am not thinking about directing. I am scripting a film and also co-producing it. It's in the process."
The Oscar winning composer revealed this news during a press conference for Vikram's upcoming film "I", in which he has composed the music.
"Shankar told me about this story 15 years back and since then he nurtured and worked on this story. I knew about this film so I did this film," Rahman, who has completed the work of "I" told the media.
Rahman, who did 12 movies in 2014, including three Hollywood movies, also expressed his happiness in working with Rajinikanth and Shankar this year.
Meanwhile, the two times Academy award winner has once again made it to the list of 114 probables in the best original score category in the Oscar 2015 nomination list for the films "Million Dollar Arm", "The Hundred-Foot Journey" and "Kochadaiiyaan: The Legend".
