According to reports, a hacker who calls himself The Dark Lord is said to have in his possession the entire Season 5 and he is demanding a ransom to not make it available online. The hacker is said to have already uploaded the first episode to prove he is serious about his threats.

"We are aware of the situation," Netflix confirmed to Deadline in a statement. "A production vendor used by several major TV studios had its security compromised and the appropriate law enforcement authorities are involved." The FBI and other security agencies are currently investigating the crime.

Season 5 of the prison drama will see the inmates at Litchfield in riot mode, but Taylor Schilling's Piper and Laura Prepon's Alex want nothing more than to stay out of trouble.

A first look of the upcoming instalment was aired on April 11 and it shows Daya aiming a gun directly at Thomas Humphrey. She is surrounded by other inmates who are all egging her to pull the trigger.

Will she pull the trigger?

Dascha Polanco, who plays Daya, told The Hollywood Reporter she could see her character killing someone. "She might pull back and think about being a mother and not wanting to miss the opportunity of being with her child. But a woman going through postpartum — at that point, they're very fragile and very sensitive."

Another scene shows Alex and Piper walking towards the commotion, saying: "We're laying low, and we're staying out of trouble," Piper declares, then adds, "If this is a real riot, do you think this is a step forward or backward for equality?"

Season 5 will consist of 13 episodes and it will deal with the after effects of Poussey's death.
