Orange is the New Black Season 5 will take the drama to a new direction as the story focuses more on the riots at Litchfield and how it affects some of the key characters.
The comedy drama will be much darker than the previous seasons as it enters Season 5, which might just be the beginning of the end, as show creator Jenji Kohan has recently revealed that she already has an end in mind.

"I haven't made a final decision yet, but I'm leaning toward ending it after seven — although the nature of the show is one that can go on and on because you can bring in new people," Kohan told New York Times.
Kohan said she has a definite ending in mind but refused to share the details with the publication.
So how will Orange is the New Black end?
According to some online theories, the perfect ending would feature Piper's death. In the recent times, the focus has shifted from the character that's portrayed by Taylor Schilling to other compelling characters such as Daya and Suzanne. Also, it wouldn't be a surprise if Piper is slowly phased out as she has already served 10 months of her 13-month sentence.
But Piper will surely be in the thick of things in Season 5. Although both Piper and Alex vowed to stay out of trouble in the Season 4 finale, it looks like they'll be in the middle of all the commotion in Season 5.
All 13 episodes of Orange is the New Black will be available on Netflix on June 9, and it will also be aired on Colors Infinity on June 10 from 11 pm IST.
