Chinese smartphone major Oppo Electronics entered India market with the launch of its flagship phablet , the N1.The phablet is priced at ₹39,999.
The smartphone which was unveiled in September 2013 in China will be initially available in 12 cities, including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Talking of the features, the smartphone sports 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor paired with 2GB RAM.
The notable feature of the newly launched smartphone is its rotating 13.0-megapixel camera with 206 degree rotation with dual-LED flash. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box .The phone is also offered with CyanogenMod variant, which is an alternative version of Android developed by Cyanogen Inc. The company's India twitter handle has confirmed that the N1 with CyanogenMod OS will be available only in limed editions.
On the connectivity front, the Oppo N1 supports USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, NFC and 3G and it comes lauded with 3610mAh battery. It is offered in 16 and 32GB storage variants. The pricing details of the 32 GB variant are yet to be revealed by the company.
