Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo Electronics Corp has released the much awaited flagship handset Find 7 in India.
As promised last month, Oppo Find 7 has been made available in the subcontinent; it will be soon retailing online at Amazon for ₹37,990 (MRP). Besides this high-end device, the company will also sell 10 other handsets including the low-cost sibling Find 7A, N1, N1Mini and R1 with prices ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹40,000.

Commenting on the partnership, Oppo Mobiles India CEO, Tom Lu said, "Consumer orientation features big on our philosophy. In today's digital age, consumers are spending a lot of time online, out of which e-commerce grabs a big share. We want Indian consumers to be able to buy OPPO smartphones from every nook and corner of the country. And Amazon India will help us do just that. OPPO's smartphones have been appreciated globally and we want to reach out to all those Indian customers who are in pursuit of higher quality products with true innovation."
With the official release, Oppo Find 7 is the first smartphone with QHD display to set foot in the Indian market. It boasts a big 5.5-inch high resolution 2K (2560x1440p) screen with a staggering pixel density of 538 ppi (pixels per inch) and on the rear side, it flaunts the Titanium-Aluminum alloy frame having five layers of thermal protective coating to withstand overheating.
Other stipulated features include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 series quad-core CPU, Adreno 330 graphics engine, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128GB) and a high-capacity 3,000 mAh (Li-Po) battery.
Rival South Korean company, LG is slated to announce the release date and price details of the flagship smartphone G3 in the Indian market on 21 July. It also boasts of 5.5-inch QHD (2560x1440p) IPS display with a pixel density of 538 ppi (pixels per inch) and ships with Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS powered by the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 series quad-core CPU, Adreno 330, 2GB (3GB for some markets) RAM, 16GB/32GB eMMC inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128GB) and a 3,000 mAh battery.
