Oppo joined the Diwali celebrations in India by launching a special Diwali-themed Oppo F1s smartphone last week along with a limited edition 18K gold smartphone. While the F1s with Diwali-themed lamp and signatures of Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor retails at Rs. 17,990, the 18K gold edition is being auctioned and sold to the highest bidder.
The auction for the gold plated Oppo F1s started on Monday on the company's official website and it will run till October 12. The highest current bid for the smartphone is at Rs. 5 lakh as of this writing. The proceeds from the auction by the end of it will be doubled by Oppo and donated to YouWeCan Foundation by Yuvraj Singh in a fight against cancer.
The standard Oppo F1s Diwali edition will be available on Snapdeal and Oppo stores across India starting Friday, October 16, onwards. The specs of both F1s Diwali and F1s 18K gold editions are same as the original Oppo F1s, which was launched in August this year.

Oppo F1s 18K gold edition for Diwali features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, 16MP front-facing camera with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and a 13MP rear-facing shooter with LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. The handset is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek CPU, 3GB RAM, 3,075mAh battery and has 32GB expandable storage.
Oppo F1s limited edition also sports a fingerprint scanner-integrated home button, which is one of the main highlights of the phone besides the selfie camera. The handset features a metallic unibody and the gold plated finish just adds to the classy look.
