Taiwan tech firm Oplus has introduced its 7-inch HD display clad XonPad 7 tablet in India, in partnership with the online retailer Snapdeal. The tablet which is now available on the e-retailer's website is priced at ₹9,990.
The all new voice calling tablet that sports a 7-inch IPS LCD display with 1280x800 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, will not be available at any other retail stores or e-retailers. XonPad 7 tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB RAM and houses 16GB internal storage, which is expandable by up to 32 GB with micro SDcard support .The tablet with SIM functionality comes equipped with 5-megapixel primary camera and 2-megapixel front -facing camera.
It measures 115 x 9.7 x 189 millimeters and weighs 310 grams and supports the connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 2G and 3G. It draws power from 3500mAh battery and comes with various sensors like G Sensor, Light Sensor and Display Sensor. In India the tablet will compete with Google Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, Asus FonePad 7, Xolo Play Tegra Note and Micromax Canvas Tab.
