Bangalore /Rajouri/Siliguri /Amritsar, July 01 (ANI): People across the nation condemned the hike in onion prices and lamented over the government apathy towards poor and middle classes who are the most deeply affected by the inflation. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has made tackling inflation his top priority after widespread resentment about rising prices contributed to the exit of the previous government last month. However, this has evidently not been successful as the price of this essential vegetable refuses to come down and people are getting more and more frustrated. A resident of Bangalore Rahmat Uneesa, said the hike is leading to a more expensive cost of living.
