New price details of the OnePlus X have leaked just two days ahead of the official launch of the device.
A Chinese user (on Weibo) has posted a promotional image of the alleged OnePlus X. In the photo, we see the phone's display (half) with X in the back-ground. That's not all. It also shows that the device would cost ¥1699, which roughly translates to $267(around €242/Rs.17, 375). [View the picture, HERE]
This actually is in contrary to previous reports, which indicated that the OnePlus X would be priced around $220 (less than Rs.14,500).
OnePlus is yet to respond to the report.
There were many rumours earlier suggesting that the flagship device will cost much more than its predecessor. To clear the air over the speculations, the company CEO took to Twitter to confirm that the OnePlus 2 will cost less than $450.
[Note: Officially, OnePlus 2 --16GB & 64GB -- models cost $329 and $389, respectively]
Similarly, we expect the company to reveal the cost or at least provide the estimated price of OnePlus X before the launch. Stay tuned for more updates.
Unlike the inconsistency in the OnePlus X price details, the rumours regarding the device's features have been undeviating so far.
OnePlus X, understood to be the mini version of the flagship OnePlus 2 is said to sport a 5.0-inch full HD display and come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS backed by MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory and 2150 mAh battery.
OnePlus X is also said to house 13MP camera on the rear-side and 5MP snapper on the front.
