OnePlus is fulfilling its promise to make the stylish OnePlus X available without invites every week. The company tweeted the news on Monday, confirming the first open sale will kick-start on 15 December and that the handset will be available without invites every Tuesday. This is great news for those who have lined up to buy the premium mid-range smartphone using an invite.
As always, OnePlus X will be available exclusively on Amazon India for Rs. 16,999 for the Onyx 16GB variant. The open sale for OnePlus X will be conducted globally across Europe, UK, US, Canada, Hong Kong and others, the company said in series of tweets on Tuesday.

The first ever open sale for OnePlus X in India was conducted on 10 December, while the company hosted a three-day open say for the handset around the world. Launched in October, OnePlus X is well-received for its stylish design and impressive performance.

OnePlus hasn't clarified whether OnePlus X will be available in limited stocks during its open sale every Tuesday. Buyers have been complaining about the handset being unavailable but the open sale begins at different time in different parts of the world.

In terms of specifications, OnePlus X features a 5-inch Full HD display, 13MP primary camera with LED flash, 8MP front snapper and a 2,525mAh non-removable battery. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory. The handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Oxygen OS and has dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support.
