OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone maker, has earned huge popularity for its two mid-budget smartphones- One and 2. In fact, OnePlus is the first smartphone maker in the world that earned so much of popularity after launching only two devices.
Its debut device OnePlus One earned 'Flagship killer' and still gets counted among one of the best devices to buy. The OnePlus 2, which received a mixed response, yet got adored by the fans.
And now the company is reportedly bringing another device dubbed OnePlus X, a budget smartphone with a decent hardware specification.
The budget device is expected to be launched later this month with a price tag of 249 USD, which roughly translates to Rs 16,295, GizmoChina reports.
For the price, OnePlus X is rumoured to feature a five-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, which combines Krait 400 CPU and an Adreno 330 GPU. If the rumour comes true, OnePlus X will be the first smartphone from the manufacturer with a five-inch display.
Apart from these, OnePlus X will purportedly feature a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and two camera sensors instead of one as primary camera.
The OnePlus X alias 2 Mini was also spotted recently at the Antutu Bechmark suite with a model number of OnePlus A2301. The device scored 54,311 which is almost at par with the OnePlus 2 which was managed to score 54,188 in our review.
