Chinese Smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is purportedly working on the second generation of One handsets.
The latest Android Smartphone will feature some significant improvement in comparison with its previous generation phone, according to sources.
The phone is tipped to be named as OnePlus Two and will appear with several StyleSwap back covers. OnPlus had recently launched a Bamboo-style back cover for the One series, but was later withdrawn for some unknown reasons.
The company had announced earlier that the OnePlus One smartphones will come with different StyleSwap back covers such as wood, denim and kevlar.
The rumour has it that the second label smartphone will cost less than ₹30,000 ($500). The device will also feature several hardware improvements from its previous generation.
Launched at the beginning of this year, the OnePlus One phones are still available on invitation basis only. Customers can buy a One smartphone after getting an invitation from someone who already bought the handset.
Amazon India has strongly hinted through an advertised banner that they might be getting the exclusive sales right for the devices in India.
The CyanogenMod based Android smartphone One features a 5.5-inch JDI 1,920x1,080p LCD touchscreen with a PPI rating of 441. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC the smartphone features 3GB RAM and available in several on-board memory variants. The One also features a 13MP rear and a 5MP front camera with a 3,100mAh battery.
