Chinese smartphone makers OnePlus is all set to release its flagship device dubbed as the OnePlus Two. The company has revealed in its official Twitter page that it is coming out with something special in a few days' time. The name of the product is not revealed but it is obvious that it is talking about the OnePlus One successor.
The OnePlus Two (or OnePlus 2) is expected to be unveiled on Tuesday, so its release date is expected to happen a few weeks later like its predecessor OnePlus, which was announced in April last year and released in May.
"We're always looking for ways to shake up the tech industry. And we think it's time for change. Find out more June 1," OnePlus had announced on its Twitter page a few days ago.
Expectations on OnePlus Two are high after the success of OnePlus One. The upcoming device is expected to have several feature upgrades over its predecessor.
According to GSMArena, the new device is expected to sport a 5.5-inch LTPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocking at 1.5 GHz, and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
It went on to claim that the new device will come packed with 16/64 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM (no microSD card), house a 16 MP main camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash, and 5 MP front snapper, and Non-removable Li-Po 3300 mAh battery.
There were also reports that the OnePlus Two will come with a challenging price tag of ¥2499 (aproximately $403/€369/₹25,752). However, it may be mentioned that information on the device is not confirmed yet.
